Asset VRS is a division of Hill & Smith Infrastructure Ltd and was established in 1998 to provide Varioguard temporary safety barriers to the highways sector. The business now provides a full installation service from strategically located depots around the UK and Ireland.
Asset is a leading supplier of safety barriers in the UK, and also supplies and installs special low deflection safety barriers, easy opening vehicular gates and crash cushions.

Asset’s products are usually installed by in-house trained installers. All products have National Highways Sector Scheme 2(b) training schemes to which installers are all accredited.
Within Asset’s continuous improvement programme, ‘in-house’ installation training is provided through LANTRA registered schemes.
Asset has access to specialist arctic cab mounted lorry loaders and additional arctic cabs for trailer haulage. All trailers are equipped with fall protection safety frames to facilitate safe working at height.
Accreditations are the independent, third-party evaluation of a conformity assessment body against recognised standards. Asset VRS hold a number of official and well-known accreditations, please see below for details and certificates.
