N2 – VGAN 1000

The VGAN 1000 N2/W2 series of aluminium parapets are modular in design and consist of three, four or five horizontal rail sections located to supporting posts at heights ranging from one metre (standard) up to 1.8 metres.

Rails can be pulled to a radius of 50 metres on site, without the need and cost of specialised curving and accommodate a vertical alignment of +/- 2 degrees without modifications.

Constructed from aluminium the VGAN 500 & VGAN 1000 offers a high resistance to corrosion. There is no maintenance required as with some other materials, offering a lower whole life cost, with an almost unlimited life expectancy.

The VGAN 500 and VGAN 1000 series parapet were tested on a 450mm edge beam to demonstrate that the systems perform on actual bridge dimensions.
